Rihanna Partners With UNICEF for Celebrity Tap Project

Rihanna has partnered with UNICEF in support of the non-profit organization's Tap Project, which aims to educate consumers about the scarcity of clean drinking water for almost 900 billion people worldwide.

The Tap Project was launched in New York City in 2007, and other celebrity participants in the current campaign include Dwight Howard, Taylor Swift, Adrian Grenier, Selena Gomez and Robin Williams. Each celeb will have their own unique tap water bottles--engraved with their faces--which fans have a chance to win with a $5 donation. Prizewinners will receive the collectors' bottles, along with a carrying case called the Ultimate Deluxe Celebrity Tap Pack.

The Celebrity Tap project is intended to help drive public donations for clean water funding worldwide. According to UNICEF, waterborne illnesses are the second-highest cause of death for children around the world. Visit tapproject.org to participate.
